guesstures

As you can see by these pictures...the Pallozzis are pretty good Guessture players.
Can you guess what any of these are?
I hope you can because I can't remember what they are to be able to tell you. (i know two of them actually but can't remember the other)

Cheer Off

Sadly, when we got to GA we found out that J's game was cancelled. Crazy, right? Well we were really sad since we went down there to see her cheer.
We decided to make the most of it so J let me wear her practice cheerleading uniform and she wore her other uniform and we had a cheer off.
Since we obviously don't know the same cheers she would do one then I would do one.
It was a lot of fun and Eric and his mom had a good time watching us 'compete'.

what's that smell

These are the ingredients to my latest concoction...can anyone guess what I would be using this for.

Let me give you a few hints:

>It wasn't our supper
>It supposedly works as an odor eliminator
>It only partially works
>It takes the place of the supposed antidote, tomato juice

If you haven't guessed by now, I will tell you just what it is for...
Our lovely dog, Jack, who has a tendency to get everything that a dog could get, from parvo to fleas... got sprayed by a skunk two nights ago.
We have given him several baths and now he only smells sort of like skunk.
Thankfully he is an outside dog so the breeze can sweep all the nasty smell away...eventually!

i'm gonna get you

Off in my own little world...
She's gonna get me...
I had better run...
Stink, I fell down...
I'm done for!

famous dave's

From Branson to Lawrenceville we go...but there are a few stops on the way.
We went, for the first time, to the Branson airport. What a nice place! It is so small and very laidback. (very unlike Atlanta).
While we were waiting for our flight we took a pitstop at Famous Dave's BBQ. Yummy!
This gave us fuel for our grueling 1 1/2 hour flight.
Pity it took so long, eh?

more pictures of our fun adventure to come.

i've got georgia on my mind...and cheerleading

YAY!! Eric and I leave for Georgia today...in 4 1/2 hours to be exact.
This is kind of a spur of the moment trip. A few weeks ago I was talking to Eric's sister J, on the the phone. She is a cheerleader...I was a cheerleader all through high school, so cheerleading really excites me. I Love It! Anything cheerleading. I was actually thinking of hanging up pompoms in our office , but thought that might be a little extreme. Okay, so maybe I didn't, but you get the idea.
And no, I don't think that cheerleading is a sport, UNLESS they compete. But let me just say this, it isn't as easy as it looks.
Anyway, she was telling me about her games and practices and I was so sad, because I knew that Eric and I wouldn't be able to watch her cheer, not even practice. After I got off the phone I put on my best 'please-honey-I-will-love-you-forever' expression and asked Eric if we could use our travel money and fly down to see his family in Georgia, and...since we are going to fly down there, we might as well pick a weekend that J is having a home game so we can watch her cheer!! What a great idea, huh? Well, I thought it was and obviously Eric thought so too because he said 'Yes!'
So, as of two weeks ago when I got online and bought round trip plane tickets from Branson to Georgia, and as of last night when we put all of our liquids into 3 oz. containers, (which by the way, I discovered you can use just about any 3 oz container as long as you rinse it out well enough from its previous contents)and as of this morning, when I printed off our boarding passes we are officially flying to Georgia.
I'll be honest, I am extremely grateful that we are not driving, not that I don't appreciate the 12 hours there plus 12 hours back, but what a relief. And just a side note...this will be the first time that Eric and I have flown together since our honeymoon. I can hardly wait.
For real, I love cheerleading. Rah Rah (who says rah rah when the cheer, really?)

Punkin pickin time

This weekend, sadly Eric had to work, but I was able to go to a pumpkin patch with Ryan and Adrian. We went to my Uncle and Aunt's farm in Kansas... www.hickorycreekfarms.com.
We had such a fun time riding in the barrel train and picking pumpkins from their pumpkin patch. C and N had a great time. Everytime the barrel train was about to take off they ran after it and said that they wanted another ride. They ended up riding about 4 times.
They both got to pick their own pumpkins out. I got a great pumpkin the was called a fairy tale pumpkin. It wasn't the usual orange color it was more of a butterscotch color. Really Pretty!!! The only problem now... where to put it in my house?!We all had a great time... The best pumpkin patch ever!!!
Sadly, the day did have to come to an end, but we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Wedded Bliss

This last weekend I was privileged to be in one of my best friend's weddings. (more on that story to come...I must tell you all about the quest that I went on for this wedding)
It was beautiful.
The night before we had a bachlorette party...

How Fun!!!!

It was so fun and full of hilarious antics. One of her friends from college and her sister came up with some really fun 'games' for us to play, some funny chants, and some advice on marriage.
The best part of the evening is when we all got in a circle around my friend 'S' and prayed for her and her marriage.
What a blessing it is to be surrounded in prayer and know that God truly is listening and cares about every detail.

Life Lessons

Eric taught N some very valuable life lessons when he was over at our house last weekend.
You can tell that N is learning too if you look at the very serious/questioning look on his face as he tries to play his video game.

*Life lesson #1- Frogger is very educational

*Life lesson #2- Only play video games with a bowl of peanut butter M&M's beside you
